Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

If you have a child who’s been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, you may have heard of a type of therapy called Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA teaches skills that improve behavior and communication related to core impairments associated with autism and a number of other developmental disabilities. Chances are, if you’ve heard of it, you may have also heard that can be challenging to access. This one page fact sheet describes the different types of pathways to receiving ABA, and where to turn for help if your child is covered under private insurance. (6/4/14)
