Halloween is just around the corner! Here are some fun events throughout the state for you and your family. If an event is specifically sensory-friendly it will be noted below.

King County 

The Arc of King County Annual Halloween Party: October 25th (18+)

“It’s the spookiest time of the year, and The Arc of King County is ready to have some fun!! Please SAVE THE DATE for our annual Halloween party for adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities! Friday, October 25, 5-7 pm. Location and more details coming soon!”

Seattle Children’s Autism Center Halloween Event October 26th 

“Trick or treat at the Seattle Children’s Autism Center! Bring your goblins (young and old) and join us for a free, fun, and safe trick-or-treating experience inside the festive halls of the Autism Center.

Saturday, October 26th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 PM at Seattle Children’s Magnuson. Free to attend!”

Thurston County

 

Hands-On Children’s Musem Boo Bash

“Celebrate fall with a bounty of family-friendly thrills and spooky treats at Boo Bash, Oct. 25-31. Enjoy Halloween-inspired delights without the fright!

Special Boo Bash activities for families of children with sensory sensitivities will be available on October 27 during our normal Sensory Friendly Hour (9-10 a.m.) and Sensory Tool House will be here making monster puppets in our sensory-friendly room (12 p.m. – 3 p.m.). A sensory-friendly room is also available Saturday (1-4 p.m.) and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. during Boo Bash.”

Spokane County

The Arc of Spokane: Fall into Fun Spooky Party October 29th 

“A costume fashion show, trivia, bingo, snacks and more!”

Benton County

The Arc of Tri-Cities Halloween Party October 23rd 

“The Arc of Tri-Cities invites all adult participants (18+) to join us for a night of pizza, carnival games, and a dance on Oct. 23rd from 6-8 pm!”

Clark County

Special Celebrations Trunk or Treat 
PEACE NW and Parent-to-Parent 

“Family-friendly fun for all ages and abilities. October 19th from 2:00-4:00 PM at 15815 NE 18th ST. Vancouver, Washington 98684. I/DD Resource fair, costume contest, car decorating contest, and face painting.”

 

Statewide

Chuck-E-Cheese Sensory Sensitive Halloween October 27th 

“The Halloween season is a special time of year for ALL kids and Chuck E. Cheese is proud to provide a fun, safe and inclusive place Where Every Kid Can Be A Kid. That’s why Chuck E. Cheese locations nationwide* will open two hours early on October 6 & 27 for a Halloween Sensory Sensitive Sunday, a sensory-friendly arcade and dining experience.”

8 participating locations in Washington including Burlington, Kent, Kennewick, Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma, and Vancouver.
