The Arc King County Leadership Intensive

Do you want more for yourself, your family, and other people with developmental disabilities? This 10-month series hosted by The Arc of King County will give you the skills and knowledge to speak up and make a difference.

Your commitment: 10 Saturdays, a trip to Olympia, in-class and at-home learning, and one community project. Learning is hands-on and fun! Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Applications are due August 20. First class is September 8.

Classes are designed for teens and adults. You can apply on your own, or team up with a friend or family member. This series is a joint partnership of our Community Change Champions and the King County Parent and Family Coalition.

Individuals with developmental disabilities are STRONGLY encouraged to apply; parents we want to see you, too!

Classes will take place at The Arc of King County, 233 6th Avenue N, Seattle, WA 98109. Bus stops are nearby and there is parking on site, as well as paid street parking.
