The Assistant Secretary of DSHS’s Developmental Disabilities Administration is a highly valued member of the DSHS executive cabinet and leads an administration that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the state of Washington.
DSHS/DDA provides case management, residential, employment and day services to people with disabilities. Using resourcefulness, tenacity, and skill, DDA’s Assistant Secretary will manage a $3.7 Billion biennial budget of services as they lead over 4000 employees throughout the state of Washington who advocate for over 64,000 citizens.
